Invitation to the Dance

The central idea behind “Invitation to the Dance” is to create a transition between public space and private space through intuition rather than an actual barrier. The curtain, created from white string and beads, does not completely inhibit the eye from seeing inside, but provides enough of an impediment to suggest a separation. The goal is to provide a sense of being protected while inside, without actually being completely private.
